Wednesday, December 24, 2003: Same thing
It's nine twenty-two pm. The house is clean and the table is set for breakfast tomorrow morning. Delphine is also clean, and asleep in the big bed. We're done dinner and the only work there is to do is empty the dishwasher and load some dishes in. Life is about perfect. Here are some pictures. The table and the tree. Chocolates for eating while we open presents. And a pomegranate. For show. (Note the Hannukah gelt.) Paperwhites from Ellen. The tree. Pretty good stack of presents considering we're not doing presents this year. Bonus picture of me and Delly. I don't know what else... I'm going to paint my nails, and my toenails, and go to bed and do some crossword, I think. Oh, two random things. 1) I just used up our first bottle of baby wash today. Delphine is seven months old. I think that means we don't wash her enough. 2) Today I asked a Jewish person what she was doing for Christmas Day. I didn't know she was Jewish but I should have known better. She didn't seem to mind, but duuh. In 2001 I posted pictures of the tree and stuff. And apparently painted my nails and cleaned. It's just the same thing, year after year, isn't it? Also my brain got muddled and I thought about science. |
