The girls got a turn on the Van Der Graaf generator at the Science Centre.

The girls and I did some nice flower arrangements for our end-of-summer party; we used a combination of fancy flowers from a fancy flower shop, and cheap bouquets from the grocery store. (I know, most people who are taking a nice picture of their house will remove the trash cans. What can I say — keepin' it real.)

Delphine, up the hedge maple across the street.

This is the cake I made for Cordelia's sixth birthday party. I baked the cake and did the icing and graham cracker beach. I outsourced the ship; I got it made at a local cake shop.

Cordelia's birthday party was a bit of a hodge-podge, but I think she and her friends had a pretty good time. My friend Tanya gave her this amazing hand-crafted paint-by-numbers set.

Alternating feet!

Sloppy cat.

Cordelia drew a picture of me. I think it's a pretty good likeness.
